Agape newsletter - Special Celebrating the Coming of Jesus edition. +Cinnamon Roll Breakfast this Sunday.
Hello friends,
I hope your week has gone wonderfully and that your thoughts have been grounded in gratitude and centered on Christ. Our family is currently struggling through a bout with Influenza, which has put quite a sad damper on our Christmas and family plans, but, nevertheless, the Savior has come to us, and we can (and will!) rejoice in that!
This Sunday at Agape, we have a special time of communion, baptism, and worship coming up this Sunday. Please join us Sunday at 10am for breakfast, followed by casual, coffee shop style worship led by John and Sam, and a devotional message, capped off with family communion and the baptism of a young lady (Cherish) who was gloriously saved last Sunday. We are not having our normal full breakfast Sunday, so we are asking everybody to bring a plate or three of cinnamon rolls (or orange, or caramel) and possibly some fruit. We will share what is brought together, and have some great fellowship. I cannot think of a better way of spending the day after Christmas than with our Agape family, so come join us at 10am!
There is a very small (ten-fifteen percent chance) of snow or ice causing some trouble Sunday morning. If that somehow happens, we will make a decision about our gathering as soon as possible, and email that out to everybody, so, if you have any sort of questions, check your email Sunday morning. Otherwise, plan on coming and worshiping the God who became man this Sunday!
I hope, however you celebrate the coming of Jesus, that you have a wonderful go of it. Rejoice, Rejoice, Emmanuel has come to you!

p.s. Please pray for Sue Sellers, who is sick today…for Chloe and John Caedmon (who have flu…and the rest of us, not to get it!) and for Terry Benton’s brother Rusty.
p.s.s. I would like to publicly thank Paula Fargarson and Laurie Knowles for spending a day this week at Agape cleaning out the kitchen and the food pantry, and setting things in order in those places. It was a sweet act of unsolicited kindness, and we are very grateful!
