Community Thanksgiving Service + Orphan Rockathon and Thanksgiving Service report…

Hi everybody,

I am writing to remind you of the Community Thanksgiving Service tomorrow night at Living Word Church (see Janet’s letter below for directions), beginning at 6:30pm. Six different fellowships are invited, and covered dish style food will be served afterwards. The service itself will last for an hour. Please see the letter below for more details!

Also - Nick and Lisa had their fourth child, Rebekah this past Friday, and they are now home from the hospital. How about we get them some food this week to help out?! They are a relatively new couple at Agape, and I think it would be a tremendous blessing to them for us to bring some food. Please email me if you can help out this week! So far, it looks like Wednesday is covered.

Don’t forget: No Wednesday night services @Agape!

The Friday night Rockathon at Agape was a huge success. I believe well over one hundred people came, from multiple churches. We rocked for the orphans, fellowshipped, ate, and had a wonderful time. Somewhere near seven thousand dollars ($7000.00!) was raised - more than double last year - PRAISE GOD! Thank you to all who participated!!

Our Sunday morning worship/Thanksgiving celebration was also wonderful. The worship team stirringly led us before God with praise and adoration, the crowd was huge (140-160 or so), the food pantry went off without a hitch, the Gospel was shared, and at least one person came to Jesus for the first time, and will be baptized next week!!! How good is God?!!!

Here are details on the Community Thanksgiving service, written by my dear wife Janet. I know this week is busy, but I hope you can make time for this gathering - I believe unity in the Body of Christ is quite a blessing to God!
